• Fold the bag fabric in half so it measures 8" x 8.5"
• Stitch 1/4" along the 8" side
• Press and refold so the seam is down the centre
• Sew along the bottom edge

• pull out the corners and stitch across the point so the bag has a flat base, 1" up from the point.

Repeat this process of sewing up the bag, for the bag lining, though leave a 2" opening in the centre seam
